The San Diego Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) was founded in 1971, for the purpose of providing area risk management professionals with resources they can utilize to mitigate risks in their respective workplaces.
To ensure that our members always have access to the latest techniques and proven strategies, we feature a comprehensive range of programs, services and training focused on offsetting risks, such as network and cyber security as well as COVID-19.
Our organization delivers a well-balanced experience for our members, which we accomplish through networking opportunities and fundraising events, such as our chapter meetings, golf tournament and other social gatherings. We also strive to give to those in need through our charitable works, volunteering our time to assist the local food banks and contributing financial assistance to local charities and to the Spencer Educational Foundation, which provides risk management scholarships––among the many worthy causes we support.
As our members will attest, membership in the San Diego Chapter of RIMS (or San Diego RIMS) is a highly effective means of sharing new knowledge with fellow professionals, staying current with industry best practices and getting involved in the community at large.
