Adam Koonce Business Development Executive – FM Global – Los Angeles Operations

Adam works with prospective clients to understand their property insurance and risk management needs and leverage FM Global’s product and expertise to deliver a customized and flexible property risk transfer solution. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara and maintains his Professional Engineering license in Fire Protection. Prior to his current position he was an Account Engineer at FM Global, gaining specialized experience in Semiconductor technology and Power Generation. In this role he worked with FM Global’s existing and prospective clients to identify fire and natural hazard exposures to their business continuity, and then prioritize their investments in risk improvement.

Rick Becker – Business Development Executive – FM Global – Los Angeles Operations

Rick helps prospective clients navigate the challenges of the current property insurance market through the development of complex programs that achieve the risk transfer needed without the expense of unnecessary coverage that leverage world-leading engineering expertise to reduce hazards throughout a portfolio business.  Rick has a background in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and his years as an Underwriter and Account Manager have built experience in occupancies such as photovoltaic power generation, semiconductor, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, metal rolling and forming operations as well as habitational, hospitality, and hospitals.

Bettina Ernst – Business Development Associate – FM Global – Los Angeles Operations

Bettina specializes in providing support for the sales team by finding new potential partners and strategizing in developing risk transfer solutions through FM Global’s comprehensive property insurance programs.  She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Washington State University. Her background as a Field Engineer at FM Global helped build her property proficiency by working with clients to identify exposures and develop engineering based loss prevention solutions to mitigate these exposures. Prior to FM Global, she worked as a Risk Management Consultant for Berkley North Pacific Group, a property casualty insurance company. In this role she worked with clients to identify, assess, and prioritize risks for multiple lines of insurance.
